11 years ago, Power Tackle started turning out custom bass rods using the blanks that have evolved over the years.  These rods have been manufactured and tested over the last decade with invaluable guidance from knowledgeable and experienced pros—and, dare we say it—some of the best Texas fishermen ever.

Long-time tournament pros including Tim Reneau, Phil Marks, Keith Combs and Ray Hanselman as well as many other “hammers” have wielded Power Tackle in pursuit of tournament wins across Texas.  We have been evolving in the rod manufacturing business as far back as when Falcon Lake and Lake Amistad were rated as the #1 lakes in the entire country.

Each of our products is hand-crafted one at a time with each fisherman it’s destined for in mind.  Power Tackle Rods are fully customizable, from custom thread colors for guide wraps to the inclusion of a company logo or the angler’s name.  We will even cut down a handle to your specified length.
